The Gans Obesity Research Lab focuses on interventions in community-based settings with diverse populations, especially for Latino people to improve eating habits, increase physical activity and prevent/control obesity.
Work from the Gans Obesity Research Lab has been supported by the National Institute of Health (NIH), National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDKD), National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) and other grant foundations.
